Minggu ini puas banget bolos sekolah dari Senin sampe Kamis yeah! Tapi bolosnya bukan karena sekedar cabut. Tapi bolosnya demi KOMPEK 13!(smangkok!). Jadi intinya KOMPEK itu lomba yang isinya ekonomiii semua karena yang mengadakan adalah BEM FEUI. SMAN 1 Depok mengirimkan 3 tim untuk mengikuti lomba Economic Quiz(2 tim) dan Economics Debate Competition. Tadinya kit semangat banget tuh pengen jadi juara umum KOMPEK dan dapetin piala bergilir kaya 3 tahun lalu. Tapi sayang sekali belum rejeki :(
Intinya sih lomba debat kali ini bisa dibilang yang terkelam karena cuma dapet 1 VP dan alhasil kita ga nge break ke quarter. Sedih banget sih(banget). Tapi segala sesuatu tu memang udah ada jannya. We've tried our best but God decides.
Well, you know when you mourn, you'll miss all the fun. Makanya I wasn't like desperately crying atas kegagalan ini. Instead, I am so pumped to support tim-nya Andhika cs. yang masuk final EQ. Selain itu I also met so many smansa alumni yanng udah jarang banget bisa ketemu, And even more, I met Dika and Fitri(AFS friend) who lives so freakin far away. It sounds cheesy, but I'm so proud to be a KOMPEK family. I mean, I love the spirit of competition in KOMPEK. I am so proud to meet so many intelligence young people who gather and compete. I am happy that I have LO yang asik, whom I called kakak walaupun I'm officially older than her. It's just so great to meet many people.
Well, selama SMA, saya lumayan sering ikut lomba - lomba gitu. And setelah dipikir - pikir, I gained so much from those experiences. I can't count how many people I''ve met through competition. I can't remember how many friendship I build through meeting those people. It's just that I value experience so much. I have friends from all over the country and all over the worlds yang membuat saya thinks twice untuk jadi orang yang sombong, because really masih banyak orang yang lebih hebat, lebih pinter dan lebih baik.
Intinya walaupun semasa SMA saya suka cabut (sampe setahun malah cabutnya) tapi ternyata memang stay in school and having 100% attendance is not the main point why you go to high school(personal opinion, no offense).
